The Family Mediation Voucher Scheme is to be continued for another year.
The Family Mediation Council says it has been successful in helping people make important agreements without the need to go to court.
The scheme will now run until March 2026.
The government supports family mediation and is working on funding the scheme for several more years.
The Family Mediation Council will continue to work with mediators to ensure the government has all the data it needs to demonstrate value for money for taxpayers.
This news comes as Family Mediation Week starts next week (Monday, 27 January), so mediators can promote the scheme and increase awareness of family mediation in general.
