The Ministry of Justice has confirmed it will continue to fund the Family Mediation Voucher Scheme for a further period from 1 April 2022.
The FMC hopes to be able to confirm the length of the extension soon, but in the meantime, they can confirm that funding is available for vouchers that have been requested so far and mediators can continue to offer vouchers to potential mediation participants.
The process will continue as previously and allocations should be made within 7 days of request.
The voucher scheme has provided vital data demonstrating the value of mediation and the FMC is very grateful to mediators for the work they have done to support families via the scheme.
