If you have been a victim of domestic abuse you will be able to claim a one-off payment to enable you to leave your abuser.
The funding will cover essential items such as groceries, nappies or support with somewhere new to live.
Victims will also be able to apply for a further one-off payment of up to £2,500 to help secure a sustainable independent future, such as putting down a deposit for rented accommodation.
The £2billion of funding is available until March 2025
